Yeah UPS sucks donkey balls. It's called "brokerage fees" which is bullshit. If the item is made in the US you don't pay customs fees at all...only tax - in ontario, it's %14. What you can do is self-claim it, but you have to do the legwork which I had to do when I ordered my Mishimoto Rad from tunerzimage. Basically you get the paperwork from the shipping company, go to a customs office, pay, then go back to shipping company w/ the clearance and you're good to go!
