A judge has set a Sept. 27 trial date for disgraced Henderson City Attorney Elizabeth Quillin, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Quillin, 51, did not appear in court Monday.

She was arrested last month after she crashed her Lexus into a tree and a large boulder after driving off the road near Carnegie Street and Paseo Verde Parkway.

Witnesses told police Quillin tried to walk away from the scene and it was "obvious she was drunk," according to an arrest report.

She was placed on paid administrative leave following her arrest.

Quillin has been ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet, which cannot be removed until the case is over.
